My new Workbench - $0 in material costs Empty My new Workbench - $0 in material costs

Ok, seems I forgot how to do this with pictures, so, here goes again.

Got my workbench started today. Workbench V1.1a.

Lots of extra stuff slung around and screwed together so I could build again.

My wife gave me a very large cutting board, which I promptly screwed to the bench, so she wouldn't take it back. LOL

I have approximately $0 into this bench. (Free really is the best)

As you can see, I also have some shelving on one side to house models, new, being built and wish I could get to.

It will get straightened out. I will be building a makeshift paint booth, since I have a really nice air compressor and a nice paint sprayer. I am also hoping to add some more shelves and such, but, that will come later.

This is a little show piece I thought was cool. I picked this lift up at a thrift store, for $5. Of course, it is actually for larger scale, I believe, but, it does look cool on my bench.

good start dennis
i dont know if anyone ever calls a hobby room DONE since mine is always in a constant state of flux, add this, remove this, try this layout, and so on.
i think the best we can hope for is to get a place decent enough for us to build and hold us over until the next time we get a bright idea lol

I seem to get about 10 "bright" ideas a day. I think some of the ideas just recycle, as I seem to forget them all by the time I get home.
I made a paint box, out of a cardboard box and have already planned 4 different versions of a "good" paint box. I wish I could just build, sometimes, but, my mind doesn't work that way.
Needless to say, now I need more shelving and more light, a fan and a filter, then I need electricity at the bench.
So much to do, wonder if I will get any time to build?
