Wayne, it's got it's good points, and some really bad ones too. The chassis, suspension, engine and interior are all really nicely done. the engine isn't quite as good as the 327 in the '64 Impala Revell put out a few years back, but it's a damn good looking 283, so we have two candidates for a great looking SBC at least! The five-spoke rims and tires in the kit are gorgeous, but the stock set of rims is just as nice! The dash is beautifully done, the door panels and seat look great, and it all goes together beautifully. But the hood and bed...those are gonna kick your butt, trust me! Expect to take a lot of time on the hood, and the only way to make that bed look good is to hack the fenders and top rails off and rework the box completely. It doesn't have to have a wood floor (There's a great looking decal in the box for that), but the sides need to be smoothed out, and the top rail replaced somehow.

OK, it's pretty much done, just the lower radiator hose to install, and it'll be finished. The Alclad on the bumpers didn't come out as shiny as I'd like, but it looks good with the Candy Silver upper section, so I'll take it. Once the lower hose gets glued in place, I'll give the truck and boat a good clean-up and snap some outside pics for to show it off.
I had to remove the license plate and glue it back on a bit higher, since it still hit the bumper, that's why the piece of styrene is there, gotta keep it straight while the glue dries!

I'm gonna add some round tail lights and a license plate to the trailer...it just looks wrong without 'em!
