I like it. Have you thought about extending the strip to flow right into the back of the forward most skull? Almost like a skull arrow.

I am anxious to see how the bumpers will look.

Course I coulda explained it better myself, I just couldnt think if the center piece ?, but exactly how you explained it, is how it will be done,
