1965 Chevy Pickup & Hemi Hydro combo

Yeah it would Dennis, but the issue there is attaching it to the plastic like it is on the 1:1...also, it's not a complete tube, it's about 3/4 of a tube. I tried with some thin walled brass tubing, but couldn't get the 1/4 removed cleanly and evenly down the length of the tube, so I went back to the plastic idea.

Now I'm just looking for a way to do it that won't make me pull what hair I have left out of my head!

I had some good temperatures Sunday, so I got to sling a bit of paint! I threw some Candy Apple Green at the seat and door panels. I plan on masking the door panels off and leaving the upper and lower insets green, and respraying the rest in silver again. I've got a bad spot that had to be touched up on the upper right side of the seat though...I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna repaint the whole thing again because of that...it looks horrible!





A quick close-up of the dash to see how all the "lenses" look, I'm satisfied with this, so we're good here!



And I painted my "rope" with some Dupli-Color White Primer....

And the boat has been repainted with some more Candy Silver, and it's looking good. This is gonna cure for a full week before I try re-masking and laying down the Candy Apple Green again! I also drilled two holes in the point of the bow for a loop the trailer's hook will attach to, and bent up some 22 gauge beading wire to make the loop

The boat has been re-sprayed with some Candy Apple Green, and all is good there, just a few days curing time and she'll get some clear coats thrown on!
