69 Dart GTS

Everything is looking pretty good, Wayne.

bit more to post up today

door panels have small gts emblem towards the top of them



these will be replaced with PE pieces


but i will detail them a bit before i mount them in place
using flat black i paint over the emblem itself and set it aside to dry


then once the paint dried i used fine sandpaper to buff the paint off the raised portion of the PE


while i am here i will also do the center console








i am going with a tan/black interior so i will prep the paint i plan to use so i can spray it with the airbrush


first i add a couple stainless BB's to the bottle to act as agitators


then i add paint to the bottle


and an equal amount of 50% rubbing alcohol


then shake well....

pre painting some of the interior pieces


3 light coats of the tan/beige color and i have good coverage

the apple barrel paint i got on sale at wally world for 2 for a buck. i think i have about 30 different colors then the wife went and got me another 2-30 lol

Ok, so, rubbing alcohol to thin it? I never thought of that. Good, once I am up again, I will have a good formula.
